نظمت اللجنة الوطنية لإحياء نقابة المعلمين يوماً وطنياً للتبرع بالدم في محافظة اربد يوم الاثنين الموافق 19-7-2010 م تقديراً وتثميناً للمكرمة الملكية السامية لأبناء المعلمين في نادي معلمين اربد وقد بدأت الحملة منذ الساعة الحادية عشر صباحاً واختتمت الساعة الخامسة مساءاً.
وقد شارك في حملة التبرع في الدم قطاعات واسعة من المعلمين العاملين والمتقاعدين وطلبة الجامعات وأفراد الأجهزة الأمنية وموظفي نادي معلمي اربد ، وأشرف على عمليات التبرع بالدم وحدة متخصصة من بنك الدم بأشراف الدكتور محمد الأيوب ، وتأتي هذه الفعالية ضمن فعاليات متعددة تنفذها اللجنة الوطنية لإحياء نقابة المعلمين وعلى مستوى المملكة . وتأتي هذه الفعاليات تعبيراً من المعلمين عن الدور الوطني للمعلم في خدمة وطنه والتعامل الايجابي مع قضايا .
ومن الجدير بالذكر أن الأستاذ سامي كنعان – بني كنانه - قد شارك بفاعلية في ترتيب وتنظيم هذه العملية والذي قد أحيل على الاستيداع مؤخراً بقرار تعسفي من وزارة التربية والتعليم مع مجموعة من معلمي اللجنة الوطنية لإحياء نقابة المعلمين .
وستنفذ اللجنة مجموعة من الفعاليات الوطنية والتربوية في حال الموافقة عليها من الجهات المختصة
